Once again, Dakota House is grateful to Ms. Yamaichi's ECL class and the Garfield Student Council. On the last day of After School Club before Easter break, they showed up with groceries for the Food Pantry, snacks for club, and Easter baskets for all the kids. We stood amazed as parents and kids filed past us with armloads of much-needed supplies.
And it was wonderful to see our Dakota House kids and the Garfield kids joined up for a game of Poop Deck--an old Dakota House game of great notoriety.
Thank you, Garfield parents, students, and teachers. You have a made in difference in the world.
